| Description | The 2nd Battalion is undergoing training at Deula, India, with A Company based at Diamond Harbour. A Carrier Platoon and Mortar Platoon proceed to Ballygunge, Calcutta, and thirty-four members of the Battalion return from carrying out patrol operations under 36 Brigade. A Company rejoin the Battalion and sixteen Other Ranks leave for the U.K. on the grounds of length of service abroad. During the month, 9 officers and 302 Other Ranks rejoined the Battalion from hospital. |
