DescriptionDiary provides a comprehensive daily summary of events. The 2nd Battalion, organised as 65 Column and 84 Column, moves from Lalaghat, India, to Burma where it will carry out Long Range Penetration operations against the Japanese. 65 and 84 Columns arrive at Manhton, then move for 84 Column to attack Bonchaung from the west and 65 Column to attack from the south east. Several casualties are suffered as 15 Platoon take a Japanese bunker and an attack is made by the Japanese. Both Columns move to Gahe, then to Yout.
