The 2nd Battalion, organised as 65 Column and 84 Column, are at Mamonkai, Burma, to carry out Long Range Penetration operations against the Japanese. A memorial service is held. 84 Column move to Wabaw Bom, then Thanyingone. Major Bruce takes over command of 65 Column after Major Downward is evacuated to India. 65 Column place booby traps and mines, then evacuate Kyuslanlai Pass and arrive at Thanyore Gone. Both Columns move to Mokso.
