2) Thomas Hughes of Sedgley (Staffs.), yeoman and William Hughes, his son.
- reciting lease by the Governors of the Free Grammar School of Queen Mary at Walsall to Edward, Daniel and Edward Whitehouse, of a parcel of land at Tipton known as the Upper Leasowe, for their lives at a rent of £12 p.a.
- and reciting lease by William Loe to Edward Whitehouse (see 31/F/2/1).
- and reciting assignment of the above leases by the Whitehouses to Penn; in consideration of £140 (1759).
- in consideration of £84.
- of the property comprised in the above leases, for the remainder of the terms, subject to rents of £6 p.a. for the Upper Leasowe, payable to Penn.
30th June 1761.
- endorsed with assignment by William Hughes to Thomas Hughes (his father), in consideratin of £42, of his interest in the above leases.
