(1) to (2) of three cottages at the head of Bridgegate on Millgate, now held by James Rayner, Widow Wilson and Ann Silvester, widow. This refers to the will of Jonathan Stanyforth, senior, late of Firbeck, Rotherham, dated 18th August 1680, which states that upon coming of age, Jonathan Stanyforth, junior, had an option on one of two properties, either two closes at Masbrough or these three cottages and the remaining property was to be given to the Feoffees. |
