J.H.M. Edye; letter from C.J. Hedditch dated 1934 regarding Pte. Ryan who died 3 Apr 1922; letters from Col. Byam and [P.N.] Mahony both dated 1886 giving character references for Pte. Thomas Ryan; article from the London Illustrated News 21 Feb 1942 on 'Warfare on Wheels'; front page of 'Liberte de Normandie' French newspaper 5 Sep 1944, with article attached regarding Hitler thanking the King of the Belgians for birthday congratulations [in German and French].
