DescriptionThe 2nd Battalion is at Tondebhavi, India, carrying out training. A demonstration of jungle warfare tactics is given to Officers and N.C.O.s by the Leicestershire Regiment. Lt. Col. C.T.W. Hill is discharged from hospital and resumes command of the Battalion. A Recce party and Advance party proceed to new jungle warfare training area. Twenty-four members of the Battalion proceed to Bombay for repatriation on the grounds of long service abroad. With manuscript draft version.
