Groups of soldiers and vehicles in places including Thirsk, Leominster, Hopton, Namsos in Norway, Iceland, Cooper's Arms in Arnsberg, Audrieu Station and Jean D'Arc Hotel in Normandy. Also images of ships including the rescue of those aboard H.M.S. Afridi by H.M.S.Griffin and H.M.S. Imperial, 3 May 1940; the 'Matabele' alongside 'Chrobry' taking on H.Q. Company; the 'El Djezair' with 'Duchess of Athol' alongside for the transfer of C and D Companies.
