Llay Main Collieries V. Rheinisch-Westfalische Schachtbau-Aktiengesellschaft
Case: Llay Main Collieries made an agreement with Rheinisch-Westfalische for them to sink two shafts at a colliery at Gresford. Llay paid a deposit and the work was begun. World War One hindered this work and it had to be completed by a different company. Rheinisch-Westfalische claimed they were owed more money for the work they had done, than the amount of the desposit. Llay disputes this claim as the work was not completed.
