| Description | This collection comprises of bound volumes and forms which pertains to meteorological (weather) observations taken within Rotherham staring from the 1930s through to the 1970s taken by a Mr Leslie Atkinson and Mr George Howard.
The data collected within this collection consists of, but is not limited to: air pressure, temperatures in Fahrenheit, humidity, wind, weather, visibility, cloud, amount of rain, state of ground, bright sunshine, remarks, and symbols. Additional analytical notes are occasionally present, regarding droughts, dry spells, cleaning of equipment, etc. |
