- whereas 1 is already indebted to 2 in £2300 and has applied for a further loan of £700 which 2 has agreed to advance in the form of 3 promissory notes.
- in consideration of the £2300 already owed and of 3 promissory notes for £700.
= of a messuage near Domine Well with a parcel of land at the back extending to the R. Don (bounds recited) with all barns, ovens, furnaces, etc. erected for the purpose of manufacturing earthenware and commonly called the Pottery, now divided in to several dwellinghouses (12 tenants named), also a messuage on the lower side of the old Market Place, now divided into 5 dwellings (tenants recited) with the land extending to the R. Don, on part of which were built workshops, etc. for manufacturing earthenware with a yard in front, on part of which premises an ironfoundry with grinding wheel, warehouses, etc. has lately been erected - without prejudice to the mortgages to Thomas May and subject to the lease to Sandford and Yates.
- covenant by 1 to surrender 3 copyhold messuages at Ecclesfield.
- assignment by 1 to 2 of the lease of houses in Turle Rd., Islington (Mdx.).
- with power of sale in case of default.
- with schedule of fixtures in the ironfoundry.
