= Of the manor and lordship of Firbeck with the manor house called Firbeck Hall, the dovecote, water corn mill, paper mill, all messuages, lands, etc. belonging to the manor in Firbeck and Maltby, a pasture close at Blyth (Ntt.) called Dice Carr or Dikes Carr, messuages, lands etc. at Thwaites, Letwell, Gildingwells, Throapham, Laughton and Ewes, and all other his lands in Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire, lately purchased by 1 from Sir Robert Clayton of London, Kt., William Cope of Ickombe (Glo.), esq., Henry Fane of Grays Inn (Mdx.), esq., John Sheldrake of Lincolns Inn (Mdx.), Sir Francis Fane snr. and Francis Fane jnr.
- Charged with a pension of £5 p.a. from the lands at Thwaites, given by the will of John West, esq., towards the salary of the school at Laughton. |
