| Description | Minutes of the Annual, Monthly, and Special Meetings of the Local Board and, later, the Urban District Council. Contains some draft minutes and unsigned 'Clerk's copies' of minutes from 1950-1974, with some exceptions (see individual file references for further details). Dates of Annual Meetings vary but are usually to be found within the months of April or May, and are inserted within the records of the Monthly Council Meetings. All minute books have an index relating to issues discussed (except minutes from 1950-1974), and accounts are recorded for each month, giving an itemised list of council expenditure. |
