DescriptionThe 2nd Battalion is undergoing training at Ken Camp, India, organised into two Columns (5 and 6 Column). A parade is held for farewell address by Brig. A. Gilroy on his departure from 14th Infantry Brigade. The Columns train in air supply dropping, watermanship, the use of assault boats, swimming, construction and use of Sapper Sampans and river crossing. Names are changed to 65 Column and 84 Column and an inter-Column exercise in concealment and ambush is carried out. Annotated.
