DescriptionThe 2nd Battalion is at Ken Camp, India, organised as 65 Column and 84 Column and undergoing specialist training and practice. Battalion moves by motor transport to Betna on route for Deogarh and a new Depot camp area. As part of Exercise Orange, both Columns move to Bharon, then to north of the Chakran to a combined supply drop area east of Balabahat. Further moves to Palethni, Saugor- Malthone and across the Dhasan River to the main road Saugor- Shahgarh south of Banda. Columns separate at Bamnora to block the main road, then return to Brigade concentration area. At end of exercise, both Columns return to new camp area near Lalitpur. Annotated.
