| Description | Conveyances of various properties in Ravenfield, ultimately coming into the hands of the Birks family of Ravenfield. Includes affidavit [1602] that in 1582 'Ralphe Byrkes of Ranfielde..Blacksmith did builde one Lytle house with in the yearde of one meise or house wherin he now dwelleth' 60 yards from his house & 'the workmanshipe was p[er]formed and Fynished by Robarte Turtton Kerpenter' and it was walled by Thomas Hartley who died 1585.
