- and reciting conveyance of the property to 2 upon trust to sell for the purpose of paying the money owing to 1 (1831).
- and reciting that Samuel Kirk became bankrupt (1832) and 1 entered into possession and has received £350 principal and interest and the whole sum from the rents.
- and reciting the conveyance of the premises to 2 (1839) and that 2 had repaid £1000 to 1 (1853).
= of a messuage near Domine Well with a parcel of land at the back extending to the R. Don (bounds recited) with all barns, ovens, furnaces, etc. erected for the purpose of manufacturing earthenware and commonly called the Pottery, now divided in to several dwellinghouses (12 tenants named), also a messuage on the lower side of the old Market Place, now divided into 5 dwellings (tenants recited) with the land extending to the R. Don, on part of which were built workshops, etc. for manufacturing earthenware with a yard in front, on part of which premises an ironfoundry with grinding wheel, warehouses, etc. has lately been erected.
