The forms include tables for entering information about the mine, including: returns of persons ordinarily employed, the quantity of minerals gotten, and the number of days in each month on which coal or ironstone has been drawn during the year. It also shows particulars of ventilation, explosives, coal cutting machines and conveyors, safety lamps, type and aggregate horse-power of electrical apparatus, particulars as to rescue brigades and appliances and return of horses used underground in the mine. Information has been entered for the Barnsley, House Coal and Wathwood seams. |
