DescriptionThe 2nd Battalion is at Ken Camp, India, organised as 65 Column and 84 Column and undergoing specialist training and practice. This includes practicing platoon attacks on Japanese strongpoints, supply dropping in co-operation with R.A.F. and patrol training. 84 Column moves to jungle camp near Manyagarh Hill for field firing exercises. 65 Column practice field firing on a jungle range. Forty-two members of the Battalion leave for repatriation. During the Christmas period, a country fun fair, Carol Service, Officers v. Sergeants football match, a Brigade gymkhana and a New Year's Eve concert party are held. Annotated.
