Contains sections on the costs of the articles of uniform and equipment issued and payments made; recipes for foods, rheumatism cures, cleaning materials, mahoghany stain and gold lacquer; numbers of dogs and pigs bought and sold; a history of the Coote family; changes of sheets and bedding issued to the barracks; wages paid and sums paid to recruiting sergeants; a list of names and regimental numbers of recruits that joined 1857-1860.
