B (1) John Smyth of Little Sandall (2) John de Mountfort of Kilnehirst & Isabel his wife (1) to (2): conveyance of an acre of meadow in Westhalgh lying between the meadow of Alexander of Rokeby and the meadow formerly Francis Curson's, one end abutting on the said Alexander's meadow and the other on the pasture of Gromondhirst. After the death of (2), reversion successively to Thomas their son & his heirs male, Gilbert their son & his heirs male and the right heirs of John Mountfort. H Pre-nuptial settlement (1) Thomas Clarell (2) Lady Joan, widow of John of Serelby & William Rygmayden On the marriage of Thomas Mountforth, cousin of (1) and Elizabeth, daughter of Nicholas of Serelby Thomas Mountforth will enfeoff 2 chaplains with lands & tenements in Raumersch, Lou[er]sale, Rod[er]h[a]m & Kymbyrworth to the annual value of 5 marks before the feast of the Purification of the blessed Virgin Mary[2nd February] next. On the day of the marriage (2) will pay (1) 10 marks, with 5 marks at Martinmas [11th November] and at Pentecost for the next two years.
