Annual rent one halfpenny. Also common & pasture in (1)'s wood of Routhm[er]sh for his animals, (except goats) whenever he is living in that messuage. B (1) William son of Thomas Clarell of Aldewerk (2) John Moumford of Kylnehirst. reciting that (2) holds various tenements & lands from (1) in Kylnehirst & Routhem[er]sh for homage, fealty & service and annual rent of 19s 6d. (1) has granted homage &c with the rent to Gilbert, parson of Routhem[er]sh, William Staci & Robert atte Brigg. (1) confirms (2) in the property and quitclaims right to rent. Witnesses: Thomas de Reresby, knight, Gilbert parson of Routhem[er]sh, John del Mapples, Thomas of Thwayt, Robert atte Brigge. At Kylnehyrst Monday after the feast of the Conversion of St Paul 45 Edward III [25th January 1370/71] (1) also surrenders to (2) a parcel of land lying at the head selion of (1)'s land next to le Ker in the place called Wymundwath [Kilnhurst].
