The correspondence also covers the argument for the sale of the home including the fact it had become derelict and vandalised, the lack of electricity supply and burst water pipes, together with an Inventory of the property as of 31 October 1972. Accompanied by a report to management committee outlining the financial position and future suggestions for the Filey Home, outlining the strict covenants that were included on the freehold land which the home was situate and a copy of the conveyance between Messrs A Habershon and E. B. Williams, to the trustees of the Rotherham and District Children's Convalescent Home in 1927.
