Description | High Court of Justice, King's Bench Division
Nina Doris Robson, widow (Plaintiff) Percy Ernest Tripp (Defendant)
Case: Mrs Robson agreed to buy her brother Percy Tripp a larger house to accomodate his family and their invalid sister. Mrs Robson purchased a house "Knox", 10 Drover Green Road, Reigate, Surrey. The title deeds were made in her name and although Mr Tripp took possession of the house and made improvements at his own expenses, his name was not put on the title deeds or the house handed over to him. Mrs Robson sent Mr Tripp the title deeds at his request but he refused to return them, so Mrs Robson brought this case against him.
Case papers include evidence statements, correspondence between the parties, copies of the deeds and briefs by the defence council
