DescriptionOne hundred and twelve printouts of the details of the graves of individuals from the Hallamshire Battalion [and those attached at time of death] from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission's website. These list name, rank, Army number, Regiment and Battalion, former Regiment, day and date of death, additional information such as names of parents, name of cemetery and grave location, further details and location of the cemetery. Some are annotated and there are a further five printouts do not state the deceased's Battalion. Also eleven items: information on the C.W.G.C.'s debt of honour register and the C.W.G.C.'s work in France, 1999; a long article on the the C.W.G.C., with colour photographs, from the War Pensions Agency newsletter; an article on the the C.W.G.C. from the Church Times, Nov 1998; press release and three letters relating to Baroness Dean of Thornton-Le-Fylde's review of the remuneration paid to the C.W.G.C.'s workers, 2001; photocopy of article 'Colonel or soldier, everyone is equal here' on Leopoldsberg Cemetery with photograph of workers Henri and Joe, in Dutch, 1988; photocopy of list of war graves in Leopoldsberg Cemetery with those from Hallamshire Battalion highlighted; photocopy of article on 49th (West Riding) Division Association memorial at Rauray.
